The leader of Pakistan's Taliban died in a drone attack. He was the most wanted man in Pakistan. Three others also died. The U.S. offered $5 million for information about him. He attacked one of its bases in 2009. Seven Americans died. Pakistan told America the drone strike was wrong. The Taliban said it was sad its leader died.

The leader planned many terror attacks. In 2010, there were five attacks in one day in three Pakistani cities. Five days later, there were three attacks in Lahore. The U.S. says he planned to attack New York. His death is very bad for the Taliban. It is also bad for peace in Pakistan. Pakistan and the Taliban wanted peace talks.
