This is the text (if you need help).

Lagos in Nigeria declared a car "Horn-Free Day" to raise awareness of noise pollution. People have to listen to the endless sound of honking from impatient motorists. The Lagos governor said the noise was now a serious danger to people's hearing. He said Car-Free Day was, "for our own good…our own health…our own life". High-volume noise pollution is a serious health hazard. It increases the risk of heart disease and blood pressure.

The governor hoped his city roads would be quieter. He contrasted Lagos to the quiet of European roads. He spent ten days in Europe and, "did not hear the sound of a horn". A Lagos blogger said honking was part of the city's culture. He said it was "a beautiful trend…that every class of people in the country embraces". The blogger said people honk when there is danger, and to greet friends and celebrate weddings and other happy occasions.
