The world's first building for Christians, Jews and Muslims will open in Berlin in 2016. It is called the 'House of One'. People can help to pay the €43.5 million cost. In 2009, Berlin's earliest church was found. The city decided it would be a good idea to build a multi-religion building in the same place.

A Jewish leader said Berlin was the best place for the building because of what happened to Jews in World War II. A Christian leader said many religions lived side by side in Berlin. A Muslim leader wanted people to understand each other better. He wanted children to know all people are different.
