The U.N. humanitarian Valerie Amos has said is too slow to get to of Typhoon Haiyan. She told reporters how it was to act quicker. She said the situation was "" and that people were in great of help. Typhoon Haiyan is the strongest ever to hit land. Meteorologists say the were up to 315kph. Over 10,000 people died in the city of Tacloban. Hundreds of are homeless. People need water. The typhoon flattened . The New York Times described a "typhoon ". A charity said damaged are making it to get around. Another said: "The devastation here is ."
