A report has listed the best 25 companies in the USA to work for. It asked employees about their happiness. Top of the list was Google. It is famous for excellent working conditions. Facebook was top last year. A Google software engineer gets an average of $119,000 a year. Google has free gyms for staff and a pet hotel for when staff go on vacation. One ex-employee said Google staff are so happy that they rarely take time off.

Another survey has a different list. The careers website Glassdoor also asked employees to answer questions about happiness, career opportunities, and pay, etc. It said the consulting firm Bain and Company was the best place to work. Bain and Co. was very proud to be number one. It has tried to make a professional work experience for over 40 years. This has made the company grow. Employees want to make their clients around the world happy.
