Watching people eat online is the new craze in South Korea. It is very popular. Over 3,500 people have eating shows. Thousands of people watch them. One famous Internet diner, Ms Park, has thousands of followers. They watch her eat every day. She eats online for three hours a day. At first, it was a hobby, but now it's her job. People click a link to say they like her and she gets 9 U.S. cents per click. She gets over $9,000 a month from her show.

Many lonely Koreans watch the online diners. They live alone and have no one to eat with. More and more people are living alone in S. Korea. In 2030, 32.7 per cent of Koreans will live alone. Ms Park says she is helping society. She said: "It is comforting for people who eat alone." She feels great when people write to her. They thank her for helping them with their eating problems. She likes her online community and talking about food.
